IRS complaints filed against Mark Zuckerberg

  The Center for Renewing America (CRA) filed two formal complaints with the IRS on September 22, 2022 alleging malfeasance related to activities surrounding the 2020 election. The first complaint is against META CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan. The second complaint is against three voting rights groups - Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR), and National Vote at Home Institute (NVAHI) . Russ Vought, a former Office of Management and Budget Director, is the President of the Center for Renewing America, a conservative policy group. The complaints which were obtained and reported on by FOX Business allege that Zuckerberg and the three groups engaged in a scheme to inject nearly $500 million  into the 2020 election  in order to "throw it" to President Biden. Does Chicago Have a Crime Problem?

It was reported in the New York Post that the CEO of McDonald’s warned of crime in Chicago when he recently spoke at a meeting of business leaders. Chicago has been headquarters to McDonald’s since 2018 after having relocated from nearby Oak Brook. The CEO, Chris Kempczinski , told the Economic Club of Chicago business leaders that the company is having trouble getting employees back to work downtown due to fears over a surge in crime. They are hesitant to ride mass transit because of a significant increase in violent crime. He added that quality of life concerns have prevented recruiting additional employees to the city. He stated, “There is a general sense out there that our city is in crisis.” Kempczinski  stated that McDonald's plans to stay in Chicago, but urged city leaders to take note of other big corporations leaving the city due to the same concerns. Kemp to Distribute Aid to Low Income Georgians Blog

               According to an August 15 press release, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp dedicated more than $1 billion for Department of Human Services to provide cash assistance to Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids®, SNAP, and/or TANF recipients. The cash assistance provides up to $350 for active enrollees in one of the government programs. The press release states, “This assistance will help some of Georgia's most vulnerable citizens cope with the continued negative economic impact of the COVID-19 public health emergency and 40-year-high inflation caused by disastrous policies that were implemented by the Biden administration.” Eligibility is for those enrolled as of July 31, 2022. The press release goes on to describe how the recipients will receive those funds. Controversial Migrant Busing Continues Blog

According to Reuter’s report, since April the state of Texas has bused over seven thousand migrants who have come across the southern border. The busing initially began into the city of Washington, DC, then New York, and beginning last Wednesday, a bus of sixty newly arriving migrants arrived in Chicago. In April Governor Abbott of Texas stated, "Because (President) Joe Biden is not securing the border, the state of Texas is having to step up and spend Texas taxpayers' money doing the federal government's job." A FOIA request revealed that the state of Texas has spent over $12 million thus far on busing the migrants. Abbott’s office released a statement expressing, "the busing mission is providing much-needed relief to our overwhelmed border communities." It is reported that 1.8 million migrants have been arrested at the southwestern border from October 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022.
